ORLANDO, Fla. – Courtney Rotton's two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth was the difference as UCF topped Tulsa, 2-1, on Sunday afternoon in the finale of the three-game series.
Shelby Estocado went 3-for-3 at the plate and Haley Meinen drove in the only run for the Golden Hurricane (19-14, 0-3). Emily Watson allowed just two hits and two walks to go along with nine strikeouts in the loss.
Meanwhile, Alea White earned her third win in as many days for the Knights (21-12, 3-0) by allowing just one run on six hits with six strikeouts.
