Tulsa men's soccer player Koray Easterling was tabbed as the American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week, as announced today by the league office.
Easterling, a junior defender from Frankfurt, Germany, played all 108 minutes in a 2-1 double-overtime win over New Mexico last week. He had two shots, including one on goal, from his defender position. Easterling also helped hold the Lobos to just nine shots, only three of which were on goal, and one corner kick in the 108 minutes of play.
Easterling is the fourth TU men's soccer player to earn weekly conference honors this season, as Mitchell Cashion was the Defensive Player of the Week (Aug.
