TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa Track and Field team took 10 first-place finishes as they opened up the outdoor season at the Tulsa Duels at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium Saturday afternoon with the women's team winning seven events on the day.
The Tulsa women swept the two relays on the afternoon, taking first place in both the 4x100 meter and 4x400 meter relay. Aaliyah Birmingham, Breonna Hall, Candalyn Lyons, and Quin Patterson posted a time of 46.71 in the 4x100 meter relay to take first place while Lyons and Patterson teamed up with Cydney Fogle and Kiara Jones for a first-place run of 3:50.
