TAMPA, Fla. – Tulsa hit 15 of 16 free throws down the stretch in the second half to secure a 56-48 victory over the USF Bulls in the Yuengling Center.
Brandon Rachal led all scorers with 18 points on 5-13 shooting from the field and 8-8 from the free throw line. For the third consecutive game, Lawson Korita scored in double-figures with 10 points. Both Korita and Rachal grabbed 6 rebounds sharing the team-high for the game.
With 4:32 left in the game, Rachal took over as Tulsa led 43-37; he scored 8 straight points for the Hurricane capping off the stretch with a dunk.
