PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The University of Tulsa volleyball student-athletes Taylor Horsfall and Emily Thorson earned American Athletic Conference honors, as the league announced its conference awards on Tuesday. Horsfall was named The American's Libero of the Year, while the sophomore was joined on the first-team all-conference squad by Thorson, a junior outside hitter.
It marked the fourth straight season, since Tulsa joined the American Athletic Conference, that the Hurricane has had two players earn all-conference honors, and the first end-of-season conference recognition for each of them.
Taylor Horsfall was named The American Athletic Conference Libero of the Year for being the conference's best libero.
