TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa men's tennis squad picked up six singles victories and a flawless 2-0 record in doubles play on the first day of the ITA Central Regional at the Case Tennis Center on Thursday.
To kick off the tournament for the Golden Hurricane, junior Jarod Hing and sophomore Boriss Kamdem won convincingly in their matches. Hing took down Hugo Piles of Nebraska-Omaha, 6-3, 6-0, while Kamdem would follow suit, defeating Piotr Smietana (Iowa), 6-4, 6-1.
Joshua Goodger and Majed Kilani would also go on to clinch their matches later in the first day.
