TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa volleyball team rallied from a three-point deficit in the fourth set to defeat Tulane [25-20, 20-25, 25-20, 30-28] on Friday at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. Friday's match was the first of a four-game homestand for TU.
With the win, the Golden Hurricane (11-7, 4-1 The American) claim sole possession of second place in the western division. They entered the match tied with the Green Wave (13-5, 3-2).
"I'm really proud of our group because Tulane is a very solid team," said head coach Ryan Wills. "... It took us a little bit of time, but we finally played Tulsa defense in the fourth set.
