Golden Hurricane Outlasts Cornell on Sunday, 4-3

TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa men's tennis squad (9-3) picked up a come-from-behind victory over Cornell (2-4), 4-3, on Sunday afternoon within the confines of the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

The Big Red managed to take the early advantage in doubles, nabbing wins at No. 2 doubles, 6-4, and a win at the third spot, 6-3. Tulsa's No. 1 doubles duo of Majed Kilani and Jarod Hing were trailing 3-4 when Cornell secured the doubles point.

As singles unfolded, Tulsa proved too much in the first sets for the Big Red, taking five of the six first frames.
