The University of Tulsa's non-conference football game against the Fresno State Bulldogs in Fresno, California, on Saturday, Sept. 24, has changed to a 3:30 p.m. (CT)/1:30 p.m. (PT) game time, it was announced today by the Mountain West Conference.
The game was originally slated for a 9:30 p.m. (CT)/7:30 p.m. (PT) kickoff on CBS Sports Network, but will now be showcased online on the Mountain West Network on Campus Insiders. The time change came about to help schedule a major national touring artist to Fresno, Calif., on that same day.
"The game time changed to an afternoon game in order to help attract a major national touring artist to our Central Valley community, which will allow our loyal Bulldog fans to come out and support our student-athletes in the afternoon and then have the opportunity to enjoy a top-named entertainer later that evening who will be performing at the Save Mart Center on the Fresno State campus," Fresno State officials announced.
