TULSA, Okla. u2015 Tulsa freshman Lily Hutchings was named the American Athletic Conference player of the week, the conference announced today. Hutchings is the second Tulsa player to be named player of the week, joining Laia Conde Monfort who achieved the honors on January 25th.
Hutchings had a major impact in Tulsa's 6-1 win over Tulane last weekend. After a two-week hiatus, Hutchings won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 5 singles to improve to 4-2 on the season, while clinching the doubles point for the Hurricane 6-4 at No. 3 doubles.
