Two former University of Tulsa student-athletes will be participating at the 2016 Rio Olympics for their home countries, as the games officially began Friday night. Ben Uzoh is representing Nigeria as a member of that country's Olympic basketball team, and six-time Tulsa All-American Chris O'Hare represents Great Britain in track & field.
The Nigerian Basketball team opens play in Group B action on Sunday, August 7, at 8:30 pm (ET) against Argentina. The Nigerian team will continue pool play against Lithuania on Tuesday, Aug. 9, Spain on Thursday, Aug. 11, Croatia on Saturday, Aug. 13 and the home country of Brazil on Monday, Aug.
