Senior safety Brandon Johnson transferred to Tulsa from Tyler Junior College prior to the 2018 season. In his two years, Johnson has played in 23 games and has 12 starting assignments. He is third on the team this year for tackles with 62 stops, including 41 solos, and has 5 pass breakups. Johnson tallied a career-high 12 tackles at SMU this season.

I like the physical aspect of the game. I've always had a real good passion for the game ever since I was little, playing flag football at the age of 8.
