TULSA, Okla. -- Corey Henderson Jr. scored 18 points and Junior Etou added a double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds as Tulsa beat SMU 76-67 on Thursday night.
The win moved the Golden Hurricane (12-10, 5-5 American Athletic Conference) into a tie with the Mustangs (15-8, 5-5) in conference play.
Ben Emelogu II scored a career-high 24 points for SMU, which was without leading scorer Shake Milton (right hand injury). Jahmal McMurray added a season-high 22 points for the Mustangs.
Not much separated the two teams in the first half.
