TYLER, Texas –– The University of Tulsa junior quarterback Davis Brin was named to the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Weekly Honorable Mention accolades, it was announced today the SPORTyler.
The 6'2" Brin helped lead the Golden Hurricane to a 41-34 victory over the Arkansas State Red Wolves on Saturday with his second consecutive game passing for over 350 yards.
The Boerne, Texas native completed 17-of-25 passes for 355 yards and three touchdowns. Brin's TD passes covered 88, 34 and 17 yards.
With Tulsa trailing 14-7 and under five minutes to play in the first half, Brin led the Hurricane on three scoring drives in the final five minutes of the half.
