We caught up recently with Jill Barrett, an All-American softball third basemen for the Golden Hurricane in 2014.
She came to Tulsa from Greenwood, Ark. in 2011 and jumped into the lineup as a starter her freshman season at third base. After starting every game in her four-year career, she played two season in the National Pro Fastpitch league for the Akron Racers before being traded to the Chicago Bandits. In her one season with the Bandits, she was second on the team with a .345 batting average and led them to the Colwes Cup Championship.
In her time at Tulsa, Barrett racked up many accolades including being a three-time First Team All-C-USA team member, a two-time First Team All-Region and an NFCA All-American.
