TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa libero Brooke Berryhill was named The American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week after helping the Hurricane to a 3-0 record at the Creeds and Crests Classic over the weekend. This marks the third time that Berryhill has been named conference defensive player of the week as she earned the honors twice in 2014.
Berryhill (Haslet, Texas) compilied 70 digs over the three-game span, giving her an average of 5.83 digs per set. In Tulsa's 3-1 win over Stephen F. Austin on Friday evening, the senior racked up 33 digs for a Hurricane squad that had 102 in the match.
