TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa seniors Marc Scott and Rachel Baptista were named the American Athletic Conference Cross Country Male and Female Athletes of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
Both runners led the Golden Hurricane in their respective races at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational last week. Scott won the men's 8K race with a time of 23:35.0, and Baptista placed 21st in the women's 6K race with a time of 20:09.6.
Scott, a native of North Yorkshire, England, was named the USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week on Monday.
