IRVING, Texas –– The University of Tulsa had 210 student-athletes among its 17 intercollegiate sports earn American Athletic Conference all-academic team honors for 2019-20, the league announced today.
Student-athletes must have attained a cumulative GPA of 3.00 for the current academic year, completing a minimum of two consecutive semesters of academic work with a minimum of 18 semester credit hours.
Two Golden Hurricane teams had a 100-percent rate of hitting the 3.0 GPA mark as all nine men's tennis athletes met the standard and the women's golf team was a perfect 7-of-7. In addition, five additional teams – men's cross-country, women's basketball, women's tennis, men's indoor track and men's outdoor track – were at 80-percent.
