HOUSTON, TEXAS — The Tulane Green Wave was in for a long day just trying to slow down Cougars quarterback Greg Ward, Jr. For the most part they did have a good handle on the Cougars quarterback as Ward finished with 186 yards of total offense.
However, in the 2nd quarter Ward and the Cougars offense put together scoring drives of 60 and 53 yards resulting in touchdown passes to Steven Dunbar and Chance Allen, along with a 5-yard TD run by Ward and that gave Houston some distance between them and Tulane.
