No one can claim that Nicholls is going to sneak up on Tulane on Saturday night (Sept. 8) at Yulman Stadium, and that's a good thing for the Green Wave faithful.
Last week, the Colonels (1-0) held Kansas to 56 rushing yards during a 26-23 overtime road victory, their first-ever win against a Power Five conference opponent. Nicholls had six sacks and nine tackles for a loss against Kansas.
"We just want to play as well as we can," said Tulane coach Willie Fritz, about preparing for the Wave's first-ever meeting with the Colonels. "We want to get better and make improvements from Week 1 to Week 2.
