Tulane wide receivers showing improvement with added depth

will probably never be a pass-first offense under head coach Willie Fritz.

The Green Wave had the 26th-ranked rushing attack in the nation (228.1 yards per game) in 2016 during Fritz's first season, and he believes the team's running game can be even better this year as the offense gains a better understanding of the system.

But despite their run-heavy system, the Tulane players know that showing a major improvement in the passing game will be vital in order for the offense to take the next step in its development.
