Tulane will be closing out the 2016 regular season on Saturday against the University of Connecticut at Pratt & Whitney Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.
The Green Wave (3-8, 0-7 in American Athletic Conference) will be trying to bring an end to their current six-game losing streak and pick up the team's first conference win under first-year coach Willie Fritz.
The last two times UConn (3-8, 1-6 in AAC) and Tulane have matched up on the field, both teams leaned on its defenses in low-scoring, hard-fought contests. The Huskies won last year's game 7-3 over Tulane, and the Green Wave won at UConn in 2014, 12-3.
