Tulane plays against defending American Athletic Conference champion Houston on Saturday at TDECU Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
The Green Wave (3-6, 0-5 in AAC) have lost four straight games, including last week's frustrating 37-6 loss to UCF, and are hoping to get back on track against one of the best teams in the AAC.
In particular, Tulane quarterback Glen Cuiellette will be looking to pick up the pieces after turning the ball over five times last week and having three of them go back for defensive touchdowns.
The Cougars have the best run defense in the AAC and the fourth best in the nation, allowing only 92 yards per game, so Tulane will need to make some plays through the air if it hopes to keep pace with Greg Ward Jr.
