Tulane's struggles on the offensive end came back to bite them once again in Sunday's 80-59 loss to Memphis at Fogelman Arena in Devlin Fieldhouse.
By the end of the game, the Green Wave (3-12, 0-3 in AAC) 34 percent from the field as a team and only converted on four of their 18 attempts from the 3-point line. It was the team's second consecutive game scoring less than 60 points.
Memphis forward Dedric Lawson finished the game with 24 point, 10 rebounds and five blocks. Markell Crawford also added 24 points and three assists for the Tigers (12-4, 2-1 in AAC)
After getting off to a rough start to begin Sunday's game, the Green Wave got hot on the offensive end and went on a 16-4 run, which ended with a Colin Slater 3-pointer that gave Tulane a 25-20 lead.
