Tulane ended up having an unexpected bye week last week after Hurricane Matthew forced the Green Wave to move its game at Central Florida to Nov. 5, but the team returned to Yulman Stadium for a full practice on Monday in preparation for Friday's game against Memphis.
The Green Wave are hoping that having last week off will benefit them with team facing maybe its most important stretch of the season coming over the next few weeks.
Tulane's next three games all come against American Athletic Conference opponents that are competing with the Green Wave for the West division title, and the team's play over that three-game stretch will have large implications for the rest of the season.
