Tulane was looking to pick up its first win in the American Athletic Conference for head coach Willie Fritz. After a turnover on their first possession, the Green Wave could never mount a challenge as the Cougars scored on four of their first six possessions in the first half en route to 30-18 win over Tulane in front of 36,552 at TDECU Stadium.
