Tulane quarterback Glen Cuiellette knew that after losing his starting position two games into the season that it would probably take something close to miraculous in order for him to grab the job back.
The former Mandeville standout might have done just that on Saturday night.
Cuiellette passed for 165 yards and completed the first four touchdowns of his career to help guide the Green Wave (2-2) to a 41-39 win over Louisiana-Lafayette (2-2) at Yulman Stadium in the first four-overtime game in Tulane history.
"I did lose my confidence. I didn't really show it, but I'm passionate about what I do so it was gonna eat at me a little bit," Cuiellette said of losing his starting position.
