Tulane point guard Colin Slater was one of the first commitments the Green Wave received from its 2016 class, but once the school decided to part ways with former head coach Ed Conroy, there was some doubt around whether the three-star recruit would remain committed.
But in Slater's mind, there was never a question.
The Tulane men's basketball team finished last season with a 13-21 record and are heading into its first season under new head coach Mike Dunleavy Sr.
"I'm from (New Orleans), this is my home for me," Slater said. "I always wanted to come back.
