Hunter Knighton doesn't remember much about one of the scariest days of his life, but he knows it'll be an experience he'll never forget.
In 2014 while he was a member of the University of Miami's football team, the offensive lineman suffered a heat stroke during practice when his temperature reached an astonishing 109 degrees, resulting in liver and kidney failure that almost took his life.
Knighton spent 12 days in a coma before before eventually making a full recovery.
"The memory kind of freaked me out for a while, you don't realize how close to death you were," Knighton said.
