Tulane moves Devin Glenn back to running back; injuries; more notes

Tulane coach Willie Fritz announced on Wednesday that he will be moving sophomore Devin Glenn back to running back leading up to Saturday's against the University of Louisiana-Lafayette at Yulman Stadium at 7 p.m.

Glenn made the move over to wide receiver during fall camp, but with running back Sherman Badie expected to miss "a few weeks" with a groin injury, Fritz thought Glenn could add speed and versatility to the Green Wave backfield.

"That was his position in high school and it gives us a lot of speed," Fritz said. "It gives us a little more depth back there and the opportunity to give him the ball.
