Tulane broke a five-game losing streak with a win against Army last Saturday and you could tell there was a sense of relief at Green Wave coach Curtis Johnson's press conference on Tuesday.
Players were more relaxed and cracking jokes as the team looked to turn its attention to SMU (1-9), where Tulane will travel for the season's final road game this week.
It was almost another week following a loss as Tulane needed a 35-yard field goal by kicker Andrew DiRocco to defeat the Black Knights. It was a win provided by Tulane's special teams, a group that has seen its fair share of problems this season.
