Tulane linebacker Nico Marley changes jersey number to honor father

Tulane linebacker Nico Marley was too young to remember his father during his time as a football player, but he has tried to emulate his dad's game on the field his entire life.

Marley's father, Rohan, played linebacker at the University of Miami from 1991 to 1994 and went on to have a short stint in the Canadian Football League. Rohan is also more famously known as the son of legendary Reggae artist Bob Marley.

Nico wanted to wear the No. 2 as his jersey number when he arrived at Tulane like his father did at Miami, but former Tulane safety Darion Monroe already had it, so Nico decided to go with No.
