The sophomore guard played a significant role off the bench during his freshman season, but saw his minutes largely decrease going into his second season after the emergence of newcomers Ray Ona Embo and Colin Slater.
Julien, a former Riverside standout, played in 17 games this season and averaged 2.5 points and 1.3 assists. He only saw time on the court in three of the team's final 17 games of the season and played more than 15 minutes only four times all season.
