Stephen Ugochukwu tied his career high with 19 points and set a new career high with 14 rebounds to help push McNeese State to a 70-63 victory over Tulane at Fogelman Arena in Devlin Fieldhouse on Monday night.
Monday's win was the Cowboys' first road victory of the season.
Tulane (3-8) jumped on McNeese early in Monday night's game, but foul trouble for forward Cam Reynolds and guard Malik Morgan took the Green Wave out of sync offensively.
The Cowboys (3-7) erased an early deficit with a 25-8 run that ended with guard Jarren Greenwood converting a three-point play that gave his team a 36-28 lead with 2:02 left in the half.
