It's rare for a team to be able to devote more than a week to scouting its opponent during the season. But Tulane had a whole month to study up on UCF. The teams were originally scheduled to play on Oct. 7, but the game had to be postponed after it became clear that Hurricane Matthew would hit Central Florida that weekend.
That extra scouting time didn't pay off for Tulane (3-6 overall, 0-5 in the American) who fell 37-6 to UCF (5-4, 3-2) at Bright House Networks Stadium Saturday night.
