Tulane may have only signed two players from Louisiana in its 2017 recruiting class, but it's already putting in the effort to increase the schools number of in-state recruits over the coming years.
The Green Wave extended a scholarship offer to 2019 John Ehret quarterback Travis Mumphrey on Saturday, just a few day after giving an offer to Mumphrey's teammate Jammal Houston, a 2018 wide receiver.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound signal caller has already received offers from Jackson State and Arkansas State, and also has schools like Louisiana Tech, Colorado, Stanford, Arizona State, Colorado State and Mississippi State showing interest as of late.
