Tulane defensive tackle Braynon Edwards wasn't happy about the way his 2016 season ended and he went to one of his teammates to figure out what went wrong.
Edwards showed the ability to be a stout run-stopper early in the year, but he eventually fell out of the rotation and only saw playing time in one of the team's final four games of the season.
Edwards said he views former Tulane defensive tackle Tanzel Smart--who graduated after last season--as a mentor and when he sought out the advice of the two-time All-AAC selection following the season he received a frank response.
