Tulane baseball completed a weekend sweep at UCF on Sunday at Jay Bergman Field, as the Green Wave got a stellar performance from Alex Massey on the mound on its way to the program's single-season school record 10th shutout on the year, while the bats collected 12 hits on the afternoon.
How It Was Won
Tulane (26-13, 7-4) jumped out to an early lead in the top of the third, when Grant Witherspoon singled up the middle to score Stephen Alemais. The Green Wave weren't done in that frame, though, as Jeremy Montalbano posted an RBI-single, followed by an RBI-single from Hunter Williams and a two-run double by Jarret DeHart.
