Tulane coach Willie Fritz will not announce starting QB for Saturday's game vs. UL-Lafayette

Tulane coach Willie Fritz said on Thursday that he will not be announcing who the Green Wave's starting quarterback will be for the Saturday's game against the University of Louisiana-Lafayette.

He did say Tulane quarterbacks Glen Cuiellette and Johnathan Brantley will both receive playing time in Saturday's game, which will be played at Yulman Stadium for 7 p.m.

"We're going to play both guys," Fritz said. "I'm going to talk to (offensive coordinator) Doug (Ruse) and we're going to figure out what the rotation is gonna be."

After redshirt sophomore Glen Cuiellette started at quarterback in the Green Wave's first two games of the season, Brantley jumped up the depth chart after an impressive 119-yard rushing performance in a 66-21 victory over Southern.
