Tulane held its first preseason practice at Yulman Stadium on Monday and expectations are much different for head coach Willie Fritz heading into the 2017 season.
Fritz finished with a 4-8 record after his first season with the Green Wave in 2016, and he's hoping familiarity with his system will allow the team to come out with more of a purpose during preseason camp.
Fritz says this will allow the team to spend more time focusing on what it takes to win rather than figuring out a different playbook.
