Tulane bullpen falls apart late in 11-4 loss to San Diego

Tulane kept things close for most of the night but their bullpen got torched in the final three innings of the night, leading to San Diego pulling off an 11-4 victory on Thursday night to kick off a four-game weekend series at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium.

The Green Wave (3-9) had five relievers combine to give up nine runs, five hits, six walks and four wild pitches over the final three innings of the game.

With both teams tied at 2 going into the seventh inning, San Diego first baseman Roman Garcia hit a leadoff double to begin the inning.
