The Tulane men's basketball team started the season with a third consecutive win Friday by beating Colorado State 80-53 in the opening game of the Jamaica Classic in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Those three wins have the much-improved Green Wave halfway to reaching its win total from last season, when it posted a 6-25 overall record.

Cameron Reynolds scored 25 points on 8-of-13 shooting with four 3-pointers, and Melvin Frazier posted 23 points on 8-of-9 shooting with three 3-pointers plus five rebounds, four assists and four steals.
