HAMMOND -- Recent midweek losses for the Tulane baseball team included squandered late-game leads due to a string of walks, hit batters and wild pitches.
That was not the case Tuesday.
The Green Wave never led in their latest midweek loss, this time a 9-3 defeat against Southeastern at Alumni Field.
Southeastern (19-9) put the leadoff hitter on base in each of the first four innings, scoring two runs in the first and three more in the fourth. The three in the fourth came on a towering three-run home run by No. 9 hitter Trey Harrington.
