No. 27 Tulane baseball belted out 18 hits, while the Green Wave pitching staff held Pepperdine's bats to just three in a 15-0 victory on Saturday evening at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium, giving the Green Wave the series win as well as their fourth shutout of the season.
Tulane (6-4) jumped out to another early lead over Pepperdine (3-7) in the bottom of the second when true freshman Cade Edwards knocked in two on a single through the left side for a 2-0 lead. The Green Wave scored in five of the remaining innings over the course of the game to post their second-straight double-digit run contest over the Waves.
