Tulane saw its double-digit lead fade away in the fourth quarter as SMU made the late comeback to defeat the Green Wave 35-31 in their homecoming game at Yulman Stadium on Saturday.

After falling behind by 10 points late in the game, SMU (4-4, 2-2 in AAC) found a way to stay alive in the fourth quarter after quarterback Ben Hicks scrambled around the pocket on a 3rd-and-17 and launched a 50-yard bomb to James Proche.
