There may not be a more dynamic high school football player in the state than Thibodaux's Amik Robertson and Louisiana Tech knows that. The Bulldogs made him a priority, which led to a commitment during an unofficial visit this weekend.
The 5-foot-9, 170-pound dynamo had a handful of options on the table, but Ruston felt like home and the Louisiana Tech football program felt like an extension of Robertson's family.
"When I got there I liked how everything was nearby," Robertson said of the layout of Tech's campus. "I was talking to the coaches -- coach (Kevin) Curtis and Coach Holtz and we just kind of connected.
