Tulane added one more crucial piece to its 2017 recruiting class with Rockwall (Texas) wide receiver Sam Crawford committing to the school, a source confirmed on Thursday.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pound receiver is a three-star prospect according to 247Sports and also has a higher rating than any of the other four receivers (Jabril Clewis, Kevin Ledee, Jaetavian Toles and Travis Tucker) that have already either signed or committed to the Green Wave.
Crawford finished his senior season with 72 catches for 1,369 yards and 15 touchdowns and becomes one of the top players head coach Willie Fritz has secured so far for his 2017 recruiting class.
