Tulane held its pro day on Friday at the New Orleans Saints practice facility with nine players from last year's team performing an assortment of drills in hopes of landing an opportunity with an NFL team.
The participants in Friday's pro day included defensive tackle Tanzel Smart, linebackers Nico Marley and Eric Thomas, wide receivers Larry Dace and Devon Breaux, running backs Lazedrick Thompson and Josh Rounds, offensive lineman Todd Jacquet and Chris Taylor.
Smart, who CBS Sports projects as a fourth round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, participated in the NFL Combine in early March, and he said that already having that experience along with the opportunity to share the field with his old teammates made Friday much easier.
