This football season marks the fifth anniversary for me as the recruiting analyst for NOLA.com and the Times Picayune. During that time I have scouted and evaluated thousands of high school football prospects, with many finding their way onto our NOLA.com Nifty 50 rankings. But I have also built and maintained a personal database, which includes just about every valuable piece of information needed on a recruit.
Each prospect's profile ends with a full evaluation, which is not shared with the public, and an overall score ranging from 1-10, with 10 signifying an elite recruit. During that span, only four prospects have been assigned the elusive 10 (Leonard Fournette, Cam Robinson, IShmael Sopsher, Derek Stingley).
