When talking to people around the Tulane baseball program, there's one word that always comes up when describing first-year coach Travis Jewett: passion.
The longtime Division I assistant has brought his high-energy approach to the Green Wave after getting hired in July 2016 and hopes to continue the success the team had last year as it capped off a 41-win season with an American Athletic Conference title and a trip to an NCAA Regional.
Tulane begins the 2017 season at home on Feb. 17 against Army and here are some of Jewett's thoughts heading into his first season with the team:
